Nestled in southwest Uganda on the edge of the Great East Africa Rift Valley, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is a biodiversity haven. It is home to over 400 mountain gorillas, representing nearly half of the world's population. Many of these incredible primates are habituated in family groups, offering visitors the chance to observe them up close. Beyond gorillas, the forest is a sanctuary for over 350 bird species and an astonishing 400 plant species, making it a true gem for nature enthusiasts.

Your unforgettable trekking experience begins at 08:00 am after a comprehensive briefing at the park headquarters, you'll venture into the dense, steep forest in search of the gorillas, following clues from where they built their nets the previous evening. The trek typically lasts between 2 to 7 hours, depending on how far the gorilla family has traveled. Though physically demanding, the experience of standing face-to-face with these magnificent creatures – our closest relatives in the animal kingdom – is awe-inspiring and deeply rewarding moment.
